FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Noise For The Needy launches new website featuring the entire 2008 festival schedule, MP3s, videos, volunteer information and more!
SEATTLE, WA: a Seattle-based non-profit organization whose goal is to raise money for charitable causes through the production of live music shows, has just launched their new website, and with that launching, the full schedule of 2008’s Noise For The Needy events.
Along with the full schedule announcement, www.noisefortheneedy.org features MP3s and videos from this year’s performers, as well as links to purchase tickets for this year’s events, information on how to volunteer, and more. Proceeds from this year’s events (the first of which is David Schmader’s annotated screening of the cult classic, Showgirls, at The Triple Door on May 14th, followed by June shows from Talib Kweli, Two Gallants, Matt and Kim, The Black Angels and more) will benefit Urban Rest Stop, an organization that provides a clean, safe and welcoming facility where homeless individuals and families can come and use restrooms, shower and laundry facilities in Seattle at no cost to patrons, and the website features extensive information about the program, including a video tour.
For more information about Noise For The Needy or this year’s events, contact Joan Hiller at Riot Act Media (joan@riotactmedia.com), view the new website (www.noisefortheneedy.org) or the organization’s MySpace page (www.myspace.com/noisefortheneedy.)
